Not appropriate for people with gum disease

I gave up fluoride a year ago and loved the BOKA toothpastes. However, I just developed an abcess which required a root canal and new crown, as well as the adjacent tooth developing bone loss which may require an implant. I believe this happened because I have gum disease and giving up fluoride was not appropriate for my condition. I just want to alert others to this possibility.
