Why do I need to change my toothbrush every three months?
The American Dental Association recommends changing your brush at least every three months. If you’re getting over a cold or flu, we recommend changing your toothbrush to avoid spreading germs and reintroducing the virus to yourself.
Why are Boka bristles black?
They’re made with Binchotan activated charcoal, which naturally helps prevent bacteria from growing on your brush. The ultra soft bristles provide a gentle, thorough cleaning that doesn’t damage your teeth and gums. They’re also tapered at the top to tackle plaque between your gum-line and teeth. Is there a difference between the adult and kids’ brushes?
The kids’ brushes are smaller with rubber-grip handles for kiddie-sized mouths and hands. Brushes are available in the same colors for adults and kids: Mint, Blueberry, Tangerine and Coral.
What electric brushes are your electric toothbrush heads compatible with?
Boka electric toothbrush heads are compatible with Boka Brushes only.
What’s in your toothpaste?
Our minty toothpaste is made with natural ingredients and essential oils like peppermint and mint. It contains no sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), fluoride, triclosan, artificial flavors or parabens. For more specifics on our exclusive, natural toothpaste made in the U.S.A. see here.
What’s your floss made of?
Wrapped in natural beeswax, Boka floss glides smoothly and expands between teeth to give you a super-clean mouth and gums. And, you can be sure it’s Teflon-free and petroleum-free!
Are Boka products and containers BPA-free?
Yes, all Boka products and packaging are BPA-free.
Are your products tested on animals?
No way! We love our furry friends.
Orders & Shipping
How does the Boka subscription work?
You simply sign up for Boka and choose the Boka products you want to receive in your Boka box every three months. You can cancel at any time. If you’re into saving money, prepay for a full year (4 boxes) and receive 15% off. Pre-pay is nonrefundable unless you cancel before your first order is processed and shipped.
I just ordered my Boka box. What happens next?
You will receive an email from us letting you know your order has been received. Smile! Your Boka box will be at your door within 5 business days.
What if I need to edit the products in my Boka box after I’ve ordered?
If you would like to change any products in your subscription please contact us and we would be happy to help you!
Is shipping free?
A flat-rate shipping fee of $1.50 applies to all orders.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
At this time Boka boxes only ship within the U.S., but stay tuned!
How do I purchase a Boka box without a subscription?
You can purchase any Boka products through the store.
How often will I be billed?
If you choose to pay for your subscription quarterly, you will be billed every three months beginning with your first order date. If you prepay for a year at a 15% discount, you will be billed for the entire year (4 boxes) at the time of purchase.
Will my subscription auto renew?
Yes, all subscriptions will continue to renew until you choose to cancel. Gifts do not auto renew.
What is your cancellation policy?
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. If you choose to cancel after your order has been processed you will still receive and be charged for that Boka box. Pre-paid yearly subscriptions are non-refundable unless you cancel before your order is processed and shipped.
Can I send a Boka box as a gift?
Yes! Boka kits make great gifts for any occasion and gift recipients can even choose their Boka brush colors. See gift options here.
How do I reset my password?
Simply log in to your Boka account and you can reset your password by going to Account Settings under My Account.
How do I change my shipping or billing address?
No worries! Just log into your Boka account and click 'Edit' under the Shipping Address section. From there, click 'Edit' under your default address and save your new information on the following page.
How do I update my payment information?
Simply log into your Boka account and you can update your payment information by clicking 'Edit' under the 'Credit Card' section.
How do I know my account is secure?
We are a Cratejoy Powered Merchant. All transactions are conducted over bank-grade SSL connections and we are fully PCI Level-1 Compliant.
