Boka Products
Do Boka products contain heavy metals?
At Boka, we appreciate that consumers are interested in potential ways to limit their exposure to heavy metals. We strive to limit heavy metals in our products through a variety of methods including carefully selecting and sourcing our suppliers and ingredients and through testing. It’s important to remember, though, that heavy metals are naturally occurring and present in air, water, soil, food, plants, vegetables, and the earth, so when we use any products that contain naturally derived ingredients (like essential oils), trace amounts levels of heavy metals can be present at low levels that are not harmful to health. Because we take quality and safety seriously, Boka requires that our toothpaste not only meets FDA guidelines (as confirmed through third party testing), but also that all our raw materials are tested and verified to be within California Proposition 65 limits for heavy metals, which are some of the most stringent standards in the world.
Why do I need to change my toothbrush every three months?
The American Dental Association recommends changing your brush at least every three months. If you’re getting over a cold or flu, we recommend changing your toothbrush to avoid spreading germs and reintroducing the virus to yourself.
Why are Boka bristles black?
They’re made with Binchotan activated charcoal, which naturally helps prevent bacteria from growing on your brush. The ultra soft bristles provide a gentle, thorough cleaning that doesn’t damage your teeth and gums. They’re also tapered at the top to tackle plaque between your gum-line and teeth.
Is your toothpaste vegan or gluten free?
Yes! Our toothpaste is both vegan and gluten free.
What’s your floss made of?
Wrapped in vegetable wax, Boka floss glides smoothly and expands between teeth to give you a super-clean mouth and gums. And, you can be sure it’s free of BPA, teflon, parabens, SLS, and PFAS.
Are Boka products and containers BPA-free?
Yes, all Boka products and packaging are BPA-free.
Are your products tested on animals?
No way! We love our furry friends.
Orders & Shipping
How does the Boka subscription work?
You simply sign up for Boka and choose the Boka products you want to receive in your Boka order every two or three months. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
I just placed my Boka order. What happens next?
You will receive an email from us letting you know your order has been received. Smile! Your Boka order will be at your door within 4-10 business days.
What if I need to edit the products in my Boka order after I’ve ordered?
We are not able to edit an order after it has been placed, but please contact us so we can help find an alternative solution.
How do I modify a future subscription?
Click here to manage your subscriptions.
To add a new item, click "Add a Product" then select your desired product.
To edit the quantity of an existing subscription, click your active subscription, then click the product you'd like to edit. Adjust the quantity, then click "Update".
Is shipping free?
Orders over $35.00 in the Continental US include free shipping. A flat-rate shipping fee of $5.99 applies to all orders under $35.00.
Orders over $75.00 in Hawaii and Alaska include free shipping. A flat-rate shipping fee of $24.99 applies to all orders under $75.00.
Please note shipping rates apply to both one-time purchases and subscriptions.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
We currently do not ship orders internationally, however, this is subject to change. We are working to open up this option again for our international customers.
How do I purchase Boka products without a subscription?
You can purchase any Boka products through the store.
How often will I be billed?
If you choose to pay for your subscription quarterly, you will be billed every two or three months beginning with your first order date.
Will my subscription auto renew?
Yes, all subscriptions will continue to renew until you choose to cancel. Gifts do not auto renew.

What is your cancellation policy?
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. If you choose to cancel after your order has been processed you will still receive and be charged for that Boka order. Click here to learn how to return your Boka products.
What is your price matching policy?
We do not refund the difference or offer price adjustments due to sales, promotions or other discounts offered for purchases made outside of the promotional period.
Can I send Boka products as a gift?
Yes! Boka kits make great gifts for any occasion and gift recipients can even choose their Boka brush colors. See gift options here.

How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password through the login landing page.
How do I change my shipping or billing address?
No worries! Just log into your Boka account and click 'Edit' under the Shipping Address section. From there, click 'Edit' under your default address and save your new information on the following page.
How do I update my payment information?
Simply log into your Boka account and you can update your payment information by clicking 'Edit' under the 'Credit Card' section.
How do I know my account is secure?
We are a Shopify Powered Merchant. All transactions are conducted over secure SSL connections and we are fully PCI Level-1 Compliant.
